Tidbits Tuesday

This is Jayce and his best friend, Adam. They usually spend several hours per day with each other. Either Adam is here, or Jayce is over at Adam's. It is good to see my little boy have a good friend.

Jayce has not missed a day of school all year. However, he really would like to miss a day. Most mornings, he doesn't want to go to school. He is not a morning person (he gets that from me). This morning he said, "Moma, sometimes kids are ABSENT, it is ok to for me to absent." Of course, I sent him on to school.

Still plays trains for hours. It is usually trains, boats, or football.

Is now reading us a book at night, sometimes.

Loves to draw, paint and write stories.

Has a very good memory. He can tell us things from years ago.

Has a very good sense of direction. He knows streets, where he is, where he has been before, where to turn, etc.

Check out Lakyn's little pig tails! She wouldn't turn around so I could have my back to the sun. She can be so stubborn. She wasn't exactly excited about me taking this picture. She has always been so expressive.

Thinks she has to have a sucker or a piece of gum when she rides in the stroller.

Now says, "What are you doing?"

Reminds me of my little Jayce when she plays in her sandbox forever.

Now says, "I don't like 'em" when I put something on her plate she doesn't like.

She is a little helper. She goes around picking up cups that have been left behind, laundry that has been left behind, etc. We call her "Ruthie" when she cleans. Brad had a great Aunt Ruth who loved to clean.
