Conley--6 weeks

Conley is now 6 weeks old. He is really attached to his Moma. He also has smiled at his Moma a few times. He is looking around more and more. I feel like he is big enough to ride in the stroller. He really doesn't like for me to put him in the stroller, but he is fine once the stroller gets moving. Lakyn is doing quite well sitting beside her brother in the stroller. No, I didn't fix her hair because she hates it when I do. Therefore, I try to just get it brushed.

Hangin' Out!

Conley likes to hang out in Jayce's room on the bean bag. Jayce will sit and talk with Conley or watch TV together. I think they will be great friends even though they are almost 8 years apart. Jayce adores Conley, and I'm pretty sure Conley adores Jayce, too.

Conley 5 weeks

Conley is such a sweet baby. He really doesn't ask for much. He loves to cuddle! I can tell somehow that he is almost ready to start cooing. For now, he is getting left behind as his big brother and sister go to Monster truck shows, fishing, bowling and now football games. It won't be long before he can tag along, too. At this rate, it will be too soon and just around the corner.

I'm 1 Month old!

Ok, so my Mommy tends to go a little overboard! I'm just so darn cute she couldn't decide which picture to post.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a very good baby, but I still keep my Mommy and Daddy very busy. Well, my brother and sister tend to keep them pretty busy, too. I get lots of attention from Jayce and Lakyn. They think I'm pretty cool. I think they are pretty cool too because my eyes go to searching for them when I hear their voices.

My Mommy loves me so much she is on a dairy free diet to keep me from having bad tummy aches. I can sleep 3-4 hours when my tummy doesn't hurt. If my tummy does hurt, I like to suck my thumb. I'm getting pretty good at getting my thumb in my mouth even though I have quite a few scratches on my face. My Mommy keeps getting after my nails with those clippers. I really throw fits when I get my diaper changed and when my Mommy gets after me with that booger getter.

All in all, I have it pretty good around here. I'm very loved by my Mommy, Daddy, sister and brother. Lakyn has a new nickname for me...."Little Pie." My Mommy was calling me a "Cutie Pie," but Lakyn came up with her own name.

A Royal Family

This is Lakyn's way of playing with her little brother....a teething ring becomes a crown. She is already trying to dress him up!! She just giggled and giggled at herself.

Conley 3 Weeks

Conley is 3 weeks old. He doesn't seem to tolerate dairy, so I'm now on a dairy free diet. I had to do it with Lakyn, too. It isn't fun, but I can do it. Conley is SPOILED. It doesn't take long for little ones to train you!

Make a Wish!

Jayce had a great "BASS" birthday party. As the kids arrived, they were given a bag with their name. They fished for prizes from the kiddie pool and played "Hook 'Em" which is like Pin the Tail on the Donkey except you hook the fish in the mouth. They collected their prizes and put those in their bags. The kids gathered around the kitchen table for blue and green cupcakes with bass fish on top, ice cream in waffle bowls, and drinks. They enjoyed singing "Happy Birthday" and watching Jayce open his gifts. As the kids left, they received a balloon and flashlight. The adults enjoyed watching the kids, having good conversation, eating Slap Me Silly cake and drinking fresh lemonade. It was a good time. Jayce was smiling the entire time. He loved every minute of his party.

Happy 7th Birthday, Jayce!

It is hard to believe our oldest son is 7 years old! It just seems like yesterday that I held my first born child for the very first time. Jayce was born on a Tuesday in a hospital in Fort Worth, TX. After 15 hours of labor, Jayce was born via csection at 8:11pm. Jayce weighed 7 lbs 11 ozs and 20 inches long. He was absolutely beautiful.

Jayce is a very loving child. He is also very strong willed and very passionate. Right now, he is really into fishing. He wants to be a Bass Master when he grows up. He knows facts about bass fish, bass fishing, boats, and professional fisherman that will blow you away. This evening, he is having a Bass Masters fishing party here at the house. I'm sure it will be a fun time.

We love our little fisherman so much. Check out this catfish he caught on July 19. This catfish put him in first place in a fishing derby. Jayce has won all 3 fishing derbies this summer!

Jayce is beautiful inside and out!

Siblings

Jayce and Lakyn do lots of fighting, screaming and aggravating throughout the week. After all, they are siblings. They also have times where they play well, show love, and are best friends. After all, they are siblings.

Take That! 2 weeks old

This is what I think about this swing....


Conley is 2 weeks old. He is a good baby. He was awake all through church this morning. He enjoyed listening to the music and looking around. He is so long, has big hands and feet and lots of hair. He is getting spoiled so fast. He likes to sleep with me and just refuses to sleep in his bed. However, he will nap in his bed during the day without any problems. He is a sweet little baby. There is nothing better than a little baby's head resting on your shoulder or chest.
