Lakyn:
Thinks she can get anything she wants if she says, "I luf you!"
Just learned to pedal her tricycle last week.
Is currently wearing MY flip flops.
Rarely rides in the shopping carts. She has to, "I walk it."
Loves to wash her own hair.
Runs around with her sunglasses on top of her head almost as much as her Mommy does. When she wears her sunglasses, they are usually upside down.
She now needs a drink after she gets in the bed.
Whatever Jayce can say, she tries to say it, too.
She is a morning person. She is usually the first one up. If she isn't, I don't have to tell her twice to get up.
Jayce:
Had green faces at school all last week. His teacher does green, yellow and red. He's had probably about 10-12 yellows all year and maybe 3 reds. So far, he has 3 greens this week.
Is getting picky about his clothes. He refused to wear the shirt I picked out for him this morning because it didn't have a picture on it. So, this is the shirt (see picture) he wore today (except with shorts because it is HOT).
Almost always complains about what I make for dinner even though his Daddy talks to him about this every night. He usually ends up eating it, but he is always initially disappointed that it is isn't cheesy bread, rice and gravy, or pizza.
He can be so SLOW. He really likes to take his time. This is the reason we get up an hour and 15 minutes before we have to leave the house for school. On our walks, he gets sidetracked or ends up daydreaming. His Daddy and I are constantly encouraging him to move it along. He rides his bike 15-21 miles per week depending on our schedule and the weather.
He tries to be friends with everyone. The thing is, Jayce is Jayce all the time. He doesn't put on a front for anyone. You get what you see.
Loves to stir the cheese when I make mac and cheese.
Loves routine. He likes to eat lunch at 11:00 and go to bed at 8:00.
Has a pretty smile with deep dimples!
