Tidbits Tuesday

This is a new post I hope to do once a week. There are always little things that Jayce and Lakyn either say or do that I don't want to forget. So, I'm going to try to record the little things (tidbits).

Jayce: Moma, I want you to sleep with me.
Me: My big belly won't fit in the bed with you.
Jayce: That's ok, you can sleep on the floor.

Me: Jayce did you have a good day at school?
Jayce: It is a surprise, so close your eyes.
Me: Close my eyes, but hear Jayce in the corner erasing something.
Jayce: Erasing what the teacher wrote on his behavior chart.
Me: Jayce, what are you doing?
Jayce: Just looks at me with pencil in hand.

Jayce still plays football every chance he gets. He plays around the house, out in the yard, with the neighbor kids, in his room, with his daddy, writes about it, and the list goes on. Brad says he is "ate" up with football. He wakes up in the morning telling us which team he wants to play for. Sometimes he is the player, and other times he is the coach. The boy LOVES football. Of course, if he isn't playing football, he would rather be fishing. When it comes to fishing, he is very patient. As for school, he is doing well. He is really a good little reader. The boy could eat rice and gravy at every meal. Matter of fact, he gets upset if I don't serve gravy.

Lakyn: Her new thing is "I help it!" She wants to help with everything from laundry to putting out the trash. She now says, "Wuf you!" which is "I love you!" She runs everywhere she goes, and usually in her "fee fops" which are her flip flops. Attacks Jayce any chance she gets because she thinks she is 5. Seriously, when you ask her age, she says, "I'm 5!" The girl has an appetite, so she will be our one to watch. She ate a whole corn dog at the festival. You know the kind that are like a foot long! All animals "bite." She loves for Jayce to tote her around. She is a happy little girl that bounces off the walls.

Stay tuned for more tidbits.....
