BASSMASTERS

We attended the Bass Masters Elite this weekend. I must admit it was pretty fun and exciting. It was good to be outside at the lake. The lake is our family's favorite spot. It was neat seeing all of the big fish, watching ESPN do their thing, and see all the professional fisherman. Jayce was really into it because he loves fishing. We attended the weigh in on Saturday which consisted of the top 50 fisherman. 12 fishermen moved on to compete in Sunday's round. On Saturday, it was pretty windy and cool. On Sunday, it was a warm and beautiful day. Matter of fact, we all got a little sunburned. We will be carrying Water Babies (the best sunscreen) from here on out. The biggest fish on Saturday was 8 pounds 11 ozs (same as what Lakyn weighed when she was born). We missed the first couple of days of the tournament, but heard one fish was over 12 pounds. On Sunday, the biggest fish was over 11 pounds which happened to be caught be Jason Williamson, the winner of $100,000!
