Jayce, Lakyn and I were supposed to all go to a birthday party on Saturday morning while Brad headed out to the lake. Our plan was to meet up when him after the party. Once Lakyn figured out what her Daddy was up to, she ran to get her fishing pole out of the closet. When we told her she needed to go to the party with Moma first, she put her head down, her bottom lip out, and tuned up. Her feelings were so hurt. So, as you will see in the pictures, she headed out to the lake with her Daddy while Jayce and I attended the party.
Jayce's favorite part of fishing is changing baits. He is actually pretty good at it. He is very particular about his baits, and puts them right back where they belong once he is finished.
We had a nice day just hanging out on the lake even though it was about 30 minutes too long for me, and a little too windy for Brad. The kids sure seemed to have a good time. And....that wraps up spring break. Back to school tomorrow.
