Jayce caught his first fish out of Lake Amistad. Boy, it was exciting for us all. He has talked about it and talked about it. He has been on top of the world. He got really worried when he realized he had a fish on his line. He was able to get it up to the boat, but Brad helped him from there. He wasn't sure about how to hold the bass or if he even wanted to. We tried for hours to talk him into throwing it back, but he was sure he wanted to take it home to clean and eat.
Brad skiied for the first time this season. I think he was a little worried about the water being cold, but he had a good time. The water was a little cool, but it sure felt good after sitting in the 97 degree heat! We are supposed to top 100 degrees this week!
