Make templates. I used a font from my computer (size 350 & 400) for the letters. I had to hand draw the elephant. Cut out the design. Cut a piece of material a little bigger than the design. Put Heat and Bond on the material (follow directions on package). Use a little tape to hold the design on the prepared material. Cut around the design. Take the paper backing off the material. Position the design and iron. Last, use No Fray around the edges. Add decorative stitching if you wish.
Also, I used Carter's brand since the material seems to be a little heavier than Gerber brand. Okie Dokie (JCPenny) works well, too.
These will make great gifts!
