Look how short our chain is NOW!! This picture was taken yesterday. Now, we have less than 24 hours to wait until Brad gets home. Once the kids get in bed, I have a little last minute cleaning to do. Groceries are bought, a weeks worth of meals planned, yard is mowed, both vehicles are clean, clothes are out and ready, yellow ribbon is around the oak tree, the flag is flying, and we are all super excited.
I'm wondering how the kids will react. Jayce is Jayce all the time. I know he will run to his Daddy with open arms. I'm not quite sure about Lakyn since she can be hit or miss. She could hang on to me for a little bit. I know she will warm up quickly. I have NO idea what Conley will do, but I figure he will hang on to me. I know Brad will be just as excited to see all of us as we are to see him.
It has been a long 6 months. It is hard to believe we are down to the final hours. Brad should be flying over the ocean right now. I've been praying all day for a safe trip. Thank you God for taking care of all of us.
