Jayce found a baby bird while he was outside playing. It somehow fell out of its nest. He found a little box and scooped it up. He even dug up a worm for it. We did a little research on the computer. We learned that we should try to put the little bird back in its nest. Most people think the Moma won't take the baby back if it is touched. However, most information we found stated otherwise. We figured the baby would have a better chance of survival if it was back in the nest. The kids were really amazed by the little bird. Even Conley was curious! So, Brad used his really tall ladder to reach the nest. It has been a couple of days since we rescued the bird. As far as we know, the birdie is doing fine.
