I will post a few pictures from our trip last weekend to Port Aransas. The kids were so excited to see the water as we went over the big bridge to the island. Lakyn said, "It is so big, a shark will get you!" Jayce kept asking, "Is that the ocean?" They both LOVED the beach! They enjoyed running from the waves in the cool water with their toes in the sand.
The first night, we tent camped at Mustang Island. We enjoyed meeting lots of new people, learning about the area, playing in the water and sand, making smores, grilling hotdogs, listening to the waves crash as we drifted to sleep, kayaking, geocaching and fishing. Jayce was the only one around to catch a fish. Fishing is in his blood! We stayed in a cabin the other 2 nights. We enjoyed eating local seafood, riding the ferry, and watching the dolphins.
