We are just hangin' out today! Lakyn is still trying to recover from a stomach bug and Conley is still trying to get over a horrible cough and runny nose. Jayce is enjoying his break from school.
We had a nice Christmas although it came and went so fast. Lakyn was pretty shy Christmas morning. She started out in her Daddy's lap until she warmed up. Once she got started opening gifts, she would stop and play with each toy before moving on. Jayce likes to rip them open, toss them to the side for later, and keep on a going. Conley was pretty entertained with the wrapping paper and just all the noise and excitement that went with Christmas morning. Lakyn got her first bicycle, dolls, baby bed, videos, books, skates, fishing rod, clothes and lots more. Jayce got a Wii fishing game, fishing rod, skates, books, quilts, BB gun, clothes, and much more. Conley received teething toys, train, clothes, books, My First Tackle Box, and much more.
Mimi, Papaw, and Lindsey spent a couple of days with us after Christmas. The kids had a blast playing with them. Jayce and Papaw played lots of baseball and football outside. Lindsey enjoyed playing "BINGO" with Jayce and Papaw. Lakyn and Mimi enjoyed playing "school." They all enjoyed going to the movies and watching Alive and the Chimpmunks. Brad and I enjoyed some alone time. I even got a much needed pedicure. We sure missed seeing the rest of the family, but we were able to visit over the phone. Most of all, we just enjoyed the company of family.
