Campin' & County Fair

A few weekends ago, we headed to the hill country for some good old fashioned camping and a trip to the most precious county fair. We did the tent thing which is always lots of work but so fun! We were right on the Guadalupe River, so the kids enjoyed a little fishing and playing with the remote controlled boat. The kids also enjoyed tossing the football around, running all over the campsite, and going to the park. Of course, the smores were super yummy! The only mishap occurred when Conley burned his hand on the grill. Poor baby!

We attended the county fair on Saturday. The first stop was to see the 4H kids show their goats and sheep. Conley kept pointing and calling out, "DOG!" We got a real kick out of that. We bought Jayce and Lakyn a bracelet. Since there weren't any lines, they rode what they pleased as many times as they pleased. Lakyn's favorite ride was the slide and Jayce favorite ride was the bumper cars (Brad's too). Conley didn't ride any rides, but he seemed entertained by all the noise, movement and FOOD!

It is always nice to get out in nature with the kids.
