I display these blue ones in my kitchen window. They bring in beautiful light. The best part....I got these for $3 bucks each this summer while in Arkansas.

We drink out of these. The military brats like to drink out of the small jelly jars. These jars have been dropped too many times to count onto our hospital tile floors without breaking. The jarhead and his beautiful dependent (ha) like the large mouth jars for drinking iced tea.

The military brats have their own jar in the bathroom for toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss. One small jar holds the floss which isn't shown.

These jars are great for craft supplies.

The jarhead and I had us a little country style romantic dinner this weekend. I poured a little decorative sand in each jar and added a candle.
Other ideas for jars:
Food...duh!!!
I haven't tried it yet, but I found this cool idea on blogland. I'm sorry because I don't remember the blog. Anyhows, after you visit a place, you put all the little souvenirs in a jar and label it. Cool!
I would also like to make a soap dispenser for my kitchen.
Babies love to play with the rings from the lids!
The great part about the jars, you can pick up a whole case from you local grocery store or Wal-Mart for about 10 bucks!

I use Jars to put homemade soup in to add to a gift basket to take to a person just home from the Hospital. I also store liquid left overs or broth in the frig. in my jars. Very practical! The uses are endless and they are very durable! I did get the ideas of useing jars way back when you gave me my first bronnie Jar years ago! Thanks! You can "Teach an old dog new tricks! (:
I don't know why your blog only lets me post as anonymous but just for the record I am your Mother LOL! (NANA)
