What have I beed up to? Trying to hang plates. I found a blog called Military Mansion which gave a pretty good tip on how to hang plates. Use cloth hangers which come in a small package. They are cloth on one side, sticky on the other side, and have a small hook. I put a nail in the wall, took a garbage bag tie to make a loop, hung the loop on the nail, put the cloth hanger on the plate, and then I put up the plate. Well, it seemed to work pretty well until one of my plates fell and broke. So, now I plan to use some Gorilla Glue to afix the cloth hanger onto the plate. I got most of the plates from a second hand store. I LOVE shopping at second hand places and antique stores. A couple of the plates were purchased from Ross' and Wal-Mart. The middle rectangle plate broke, but I'm hoping Ross has another one.
