My kids are always making me laugh...even when I'm sick. Oh, I have been so sick this week. I have actually been sick for almost 3 weeks! I started off with respiratory junk and moved on to some type of stomach flu! I'm feeling better today but still no appetite. Anyway, I just want to record a few funny things I've heard or seen this week.
Jayce:
"Moma, life is so hard! When is it going to get easier?" I told him a bad attitude seems to make it harder while a good attitude seems to make it easier.
Tries to wear flip flops everywhere....even church!
Make me giddy inside peeking in on Jayce at night to find him reading!
Always pretending! Sometimes he pretends to be particular basketball team like Baylor. Adam's sister attends Baylor. He also likes to pretend to be on a Jack and Annie adventure from the Magic Tree House series. I love to listen to him.
Lakyn:
polka dots are "poke n nuts"
Read the book, Pinkalicious to me this morning. She read the title, "Pinkalicious and Corn!" And corn? We always tell our kids the author and illustrator who happens to be Victoria Kann (or Corn)!
Always telling me the time in her own way. The other day I asked her to go check the time to get her out of my hair for a second. She came back and said, "It is 37 time!"
Conley:
He just cracks us up by just sitting and looking at us. Brad says he looks like Boss Hog! He wrinkles that little nose when you talk to him. Jayce and Lakyn are always saying he says words like "orange." So far, he says Dada and Mama ( a few times).
He can crawl super fast which just makes me giggle watching those chubby little legs go!
He clicks his tongue from time to time.
Found him chewing on the toilet brush. Not funny at the time!
