Sweet shoes!

I don't know if you really took a good look at Lakyn's shoe she wore with her witch costume. Yes, shoe as in singular because she could only wear one due to the cast. Weeks before her accident, I decorated these shoes for her. I bought the plain black little shoes from Wal-Mart. I added a bow and some little jewels found in the craft section. All was done with the good ole hot glue gun.

Since I couldn't find just the right shoes for Lakyn due to the fact we live in a town with very little shopping, I stepped in and came up with my own thing. I also couldn't find a black hat for Jayce. So, I bought a Hannah Montana (the girl is everywhere) hat at Bealls, and then I just spray painted that baby.

You gotta do what you gotta do when you live in a town with very few shopping opportunities and hours away from a city. So, I'm back to living the rural life. It really takes me back to how I grew up. You just have to get a little creative! I think my Moma would be proud! So, let's see what kind of shoes I can come up with for Christmas! Stay tuned....
