I love this idea! I'm going to get a jar started as soon as I can find one. My kids are always saying cute things. By the time my husband get home, I either forget to tell him or forget exactly what they had said. A gratitude jar is another idea. I've even heard of a Christmas jar. Put all the names of folks who you intend to buy a gift for Christmas into the jar. Pull out a few names a month, and shop for those 2 people. Keep pulling a few names out each month until the jar is empty. This idea came from inchmark blog.

I found you through Kelly. That is such a neat idea with the jar. My two oldest are teens now and I wish I had done that years ago~
