Jayce graduated from PreK today. Along with his classmates, he sang songs, recited poems, and said a memory verse. All went well....well, maybe except for when he announced he had to PEE and started holding himself. His teacher allowed him to leave the program to relieve himself. Of course, everyone giggled and just thought it was too cute. A few minutes later, another child announced she too needed to go to the restroom. Anyway, Jayce got back just in time to say his memory verse which he did a fabulous job. The teacher told each child they reminded her of a person from the Bible. Jayce reminds her of Peter because he is so passionate, loves organization and order, and loves fishing.
Jayce has learned so much this year. Some of his favorite lessons have included the Solar system, birds, taking care of yourself, and Bible stories. His teacher is wonderful! She has been so patient, kind, gentle, and loving. She is also very creative and organized. Jayce has brought home some really neat projects.
Jayce was sad to see the last day. He told me this morning he would like two more days of preschool. He is already talking about how much he is missing his teacher. He is such a loving, little boy. We are so proud of him! Congratulations, Jayce!
