Conley--19 months

What is Boo Boos up to? Yep, we still call him Boo Boos especially when he first wakes up from his nap. I'm a lucky Mom because he still takes a long nap in the afternoon and goes to bed at 8:00. He likes to sleep like his Moma! Lakyn and Jayce really try to help take care of their little brother. They are always fetching the "abu" (aka pacifier), sippy cups, and toys. Mostly they do this because Conley loves to throw things especially when he is mad. While in Wal-Mart his week, he threw his container of popcorn chicken and hit a guy in the back. Oh, so embarassing for a Moma. Next, he got into my purse and threw out my military ID which I didn't realize until I was ready to check out. Luckily, someone found it and turned it in. He is really hard on his Moma during shopping trips. He also is trying out the hitting thing and kicking thing. We know he is just trying it out and not trying to be mean.

This boy LOVES to eat. He can put away 2 waffles and a banana for breakfast, an entire sandwich and fruit for lunch, and a big dinner, too. Of course, this doesn't count all the snacks he has during the day such as milk, cheese and yogurt. His favorite foods are bananas, honeydew melon, waffles, cheese sticks, and carrots. I haven't weighed him lately, but I'm guessing he is around 30 pounds. He wears 2T in clothing and a size 6 in shoes. He probably needs so much food because he runs everywhere he goes.

Conley is super sweet when he isn't throwing things. He will pat me on the back when I pick him up. He runs from me when I ask for a kiss. He likes to play hard to get. He just giggles as he runs from me. He breaks into full laughter when I catch him. He is quite the little helper, too. He helps me get laundry out of the dryer, tries to put clean trashbags in the wastebasket, cleans if I leave a towel or dishrag around, puts shoes away in the basket, and put everything in the trash. If there is just one little piece of paper on the floor, he will be sure to put it in the trash.

New words include: stuck, wa-wa (for waffle), La-La (Lakyn), & Day (for Jayce), ball-ball (football and basketball)

Favorite toys:

dump truck: (see picture) He can push it up and down the sidewalk forever.
popping push toy: He loves to push it all over the house. I just have to tune it out most of the time.
football: any type of ball or game with a ball is called "ball-ball"
Daddy doll: He carries it around all the time.
play phone: loves to pretend to talk to someone
computer: Lakyn has a toy computer he is now interested in.
book: He will sit and look at books for quite awhile.

Overall, Conley is still pretty laid back. He is trying a few things, but I know it is his age.

We LOVE our Boo-Boos!
