Our little cowpoke, Conley celebrated his 1st birthday in Arkansas with family and friends. Conley really wasn't sure what all the fuss was really about. He just looked around and went with it. He liked the candle, but he didn't like the cake. He was happier with the Cheetos. My heart nearly exploded as I sang along with my entire family to the Happy Birthday song. This has been the happiest year of my life! Conley is a very happy baby who makes our hearts smile! He is a very happy baby, very good baby, very cute baby, very sweet baby, and our baby. We love him so much.
All the kids looked super sweet in their cowboy hats and bandanas. Everyone enjoyed BBQ sandwiches, cake and blackberry cobbler. Mimi did an excellent job putting the party together. Everything was just so stinkin' cute just like our Conley.
Conley took his first step on his birthday at the hotel in Stephensville, TX earlier that morning. Conley didn't get a chance to try out his new skill because he was busy eating, opening gifts, and being carried around by the grandparents. Since the party, he has taken up to 4 steps at a time. He has learned the use the sippy cup quite well, says several new words, and likes to play games with you.
Those who attended the party: Mimi, Lindsey, John, Pop, Grandma, Aunt Brandie, Levi, Brayden, Nana, Popa Jim, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Leslie, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Shane, River, Reyd, Aunt Apple, Uncle Josh, Landen, Remington, Moma, Daddy, Jayce and Lakyn. Pawpaw had to work, but we visited with him after he got home. Conley received lots of gifts including a bowling set, helicopted, calapillar, books, toy phones, riding toy, and the list goes on.
