I took the kids to the zoo, out to eat, swimming, Chucky Cheese, and to Target (that was for me). Lakyn's favorite part of the zoo seemed to be the ducks. Of course, all birds are ducks! Jayce's favorite part was the train ride, of course. We thought we would get rained out (weird because it rarely rains here), but it ended up just being a little on the chilly side. A light jacket was all we needed. The next day was 80 degrees!
They both chowed down at Chuy's on the best cheese dip ever. Lakyn kept asking to go "fwimmy." They spent most of the time in the hot tub which was more like really warm bath water. The indoor pool was on the chilly side. However, that didn't stop Jayce from doing canon balls. Chucky Cheese was a big hit. Lakyn was more interested in putting the coins in the slots than actually playing. Jayce enjoyed many of the games. They both enjoyed climbing through the tunnels and going down the slide. Lakyn did fine as long as Jayce stayed near. Once, I heard her screaming because she lost Jayce.
Oh, we also hit Schlotsky's for lunch...love, love, love this place. We couldn't leave without hitting Target. We really didn't buy much. I managed to pick up a few maternity shirts. Yes, I started wearing a few maternity things last week. Oh, and we can't forget how much fun we had riding the elevator. It is the small things in life!
