BOO!!!

We were "Boo--ed" last night! What a fun neighborhood game! This is how it works:
1. Make up 2 treat bags, 2 copies of the ghost paper and 2 copies of the poem (can find several variations online).
2. Select 2 neighbors without a ghost on display. At night, sneak up and place the treat bag in front of their door. Ring the doorbell, and run away.
4. Keep it all a secret. Ghosts stay on display until after Halloween.
By Halloween, your neighborhood will be full of ghosts!
Tonight, Jayce, Lakyn and I plan to go out and "boo" 2 neighbors. I bought those $1 jack-o-lantern treat buckets. I plan to put the following inside: a cider scented candle, festive dish towels, Halloween pencils and candy. Fun!!!!

Tidbits Tuesday....Crayne Kids
One little, two little, three little Crayne kids! This is what they look like this week. These pictures were taken Friday at the lake. We had a picnic then watched the sun set as we fished.
Jayce: Is just as addicted to fishing as his daddy. He caught a 2 pounder this past weekend using a watermelon red plastic worm. He is asking for some pretty expensive swim baits for Christmas! He was adorable last night at the 1st grade program at PTO. His class danced to a Halloween song. I could tell he was terrified, but he followed through and got the job done. Jayce wears a size 7 in clothing and 1 1/2 in shoes.
Lakyn: Went fishing with her Daddy yesterday for 12 hours!!!! She has her own tackle box full of plastic worms. She want to do everything "by myself." She wears a 3T in clothing and a size 8 shoe. She calls Conley "boo boo." I just got on to her for messing with the mini blinds, so she says, "You hush, the baby is trying to sleep!" Oh, she is sassy!
Conley: He is a chunky monkey! He has grown so much in the past couple of weeks. He really perks up and listens to his Daddy's voice. We all get a kick out of his big smiles and little giggles. He wears a size 6-9 months.

What have we been up to?
Cub Scouts! Jayce is having a good time with Cub Scouts. He and Brad are both learning. Lakyn sure feels left out, but she gets to stay with Mommy and do girl things. Jayce is currently selling popcorn. If interested, go to www.trails-end.com to order.

Our church held a fall carnival. Yes, we allowed Lakyn to get in the jumpy house, but we were a little scared considering she broke her leg this time last year. Jayce enjoyed throwing the ball at the dunking booth. They both loved the snowcones!

Still catching fish! I went for the first time in a long time. I was amazed at how Jayce can stand on the back of the boat for hours and hours fishing and pretending to be on Bass Masters. Later on this day, I was up on the ski for the first time this year!

Brad participated in his first tournament. He and Frank placed 7th which wasn't too shabby. The kids and I joined them for the weigh in and the food.

Look at Conley! Isn't this the funniest little face! I'm not sure how to turn this picture, but you get the idea. He was 10 weeks when this picture was taken. He has left the newborn stage and has entered the chubby baby stage. So sweet!
